Climbing is fun, trains muscles and stamina, strengthens self-confidence and promotes well-being. Working with rock and stone also gives you strength for everyday life. In the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region, all outdoor fanatics and summer sports enthusiasts are in good hands, because every climbing heart beats faster here. And the offer has been greatly expanded again!
In summer 2020, the first via ferrata in the world, which leads along a dam wall, was opened. But that's not all, the dam wall still has plenty of space to offer! In addition to the two routes, a children's climbing area was also created. Climbing maxes from 5 years can let off steam on the children's via ferrata, which is located on the edge of the dam, or on the children's climbing routes.
The abseiling station is one of the many attractions at Schlegeis Reservoir. Climb up 131 meters and abseil 131 meters - what an adrenaline rush!
And if you still want action, the Flying Fox was designed for you. Float in the middle of the Zillertal mountains at 131 meters above the ground, approx. 600 meters along the dam wall - feel free as a bird!

Via ferrata paradise Zimmereben
In addition to the Huterlaner via ferrata, Zimmereben via ferrata, Pfeilspitzwand via ferrata and the child-friendly via ferrata with high ropes course elements, the fifth via ferrata was opened in the area around the Gasthaus Zimmereben.

A special day begins with the ascent of the Penkenbahn. Further on with the Kombibahn, past the fun sport station, the path leads directly to the Knorren climbing area. Via ferrata sets can be borrowed free of charge from the Funsportstation. Should the way back to the valley also be spectacular? Then just fly! Give yourself the kick and take a tandem flight down - the breathtaking view rewards your courage!
